Brampton detached homes are selling $57,671 more in 2015 than last year: Harp Grewal

Brampton, 14 November,2015 - Toronto Real Estate Board announced that Brampton area REALTORS® reported in October 2015 detached homes in Brampton were selling for 57,671 dollars more than in October 2014. Last year in October average detached home in Brampton took 26 days to get sold while this year it was selling 5 days faster only in 21 days. In 2015 for the month of October detached homes sold in Brampton were 432 makes 63 more sales this year as compared to 369 in 2014.
If we have a look on semi-detached homes sold in October 2015 in Brampton at an average price of $450,911 were sold for $40,848 more than last year's average price of $410,063. Semi's were in the market to get sold for an average of 17 days that was 2 days faster than last year's average of 19 days on market. While last year in the month of October semi-detached sold in Brampton was 140 while this year in same month were 134 with a decrease of 6 homes less than 2014.
Freehold Townhomes in 2015 were sold at an average price of $419,099 in Brampton while in 2014 they were sold for an average price of $377,421 makes a difference of $41,678 more in 2015.There were 84 townhomes sold this year, while 81 were sold in October 2014 with a difference of 3 homes more. An average days on market for townhomes in 2014 was 21 now in 2015 was 18 with a difference of 3 days less.
In 2015, condo townhomes sold in Brampton at an average price of $323,442 were $30,388 more than 2014 average price of $293,054. Average days on market were 9 days less than last year of 31 days compared to 22 days this year. Last year in the month of October 54 condo townhomes were sold in Brampton but this year was 52 making a difference of 2 homes less than last year.
Now, finally if we look at Condo Apartments sold in 2015 at an average price of $239,371 is $16,837 more than last year's price of $222,534. An average days on market for condo apartments was 28 in 2015 as compared in 2014 was 37 makes a difference of 9 days less this year. There were 53 condo apartments sold in the month of October 2015 while 41 were sold in 2014 shows 12 more apartments sold this year.
